Our services are designed so that there's something appropriate to suit a wide variety of people.

Sensory bags and ear defenders are available for anyone to use at the back of church.

At our Communion services we always have gluten free wafers and non-alcoholic wine available at the main communion rail. Feel free to ask, as we want to enable everyone to be able to participate with us.

Our usual Sunday pattern is (but check the tables above for any variations):
8.00am - Quiet said Communion service on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (BCP on 1st Sunday)
8.45am - Informal service for families with children, starting with breakfast, in the church hall (4th Sunday of the month)
10.45am - Morning service* with provision for children
4.30pm - Lively "Tea Time" service for families with children (2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month)
6.30pm - Informal Praise and Prayer (1st Sunday of the month)
6.30pm - Quiet service of Compline (3rd Sunday of the month)

*Our 10.45am services are as follows each month:
1st Sunday - All Age Service
2nd Sunday - Communion with healing
3rd Sunday - Morning Prayer
4th Sunday - Communion with healing
5th Sunday - Communion with healing

We also have a quiet said Communion service at 10.30am each Friday (BCP on the last Friday of the month).

As the civic church in the County Town we are privileged to host the annual Civic Service, the town Remembrance Sunday service, the Battle of Britain service, and a Shoppers' Carol Service at Christmas.
